A Book About Then That Explains Now

By

At what point did humankind become ‘civilised’? And at what point of civilisation did humankind become political? And at what point of a political civil society, did humankind start crossing lines that could never be uncrossed again? What drives an individual to subjugate another? What drives an individual to stand up and become a leader?

Imagine a story that traces such points in time in human pre-history, that led to the evolution of human thought processes, human co-existence, human conflicts that can try and explain the world that we now find ourselves in. A story set in pre-historical times, a story set around a central set of characters and one that has echoes in modern-day lineage.

That’s a book that I will write one day.
